These Terms and Conditions are intended for your information and should be read before completing your booking.  By making a booking with Mulberry Cottage B&B, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Your accommodation includes amenities and facilities, parking on the premises with  a breakfast basket delivered to your cottage daily between 8am and 8:30am.

 

Payment: No deposit will be charged when placing a booking with Mulberry Cottage B&B, however a pre-authorisation to the value of the first nights’ accommodation may be carried out to verify the credit card.  The credit card will be charged in full 5 nights before the date of arrival, or on the date of arrival.  A credit card and identification will also be temporarily recorded and verified at the time of check-in.

Cancellation Policy: Mulberry Cottage B&B offer a 48 hour grace period where bookings cancelled or modified within that period have no fee  Cancellations or modifications after 48 hours may incur a $20 fee. All no-shows or bookings cancelled within 5 days of the expected arrival date will be charged the full price of the first night’s accommodation and if the booking falls between the months of December through to March, 100% of the second night will also be charged if originally booked.   Any additional cancellation fees charged by third party booking agencies are not inclusive.  Mulberry Cottage B&B reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time.  In this extremely unlikely event, Mulberry Cottage B&B will refund 100% of any payments that may have been taken and if possible, will try to help seek alternative accommodation in the local area.  Mulberry Cottage B&B recommend that all guests take-out travel insurance that includes cancellations.

Check-in and Check-out Times: The minimum check-in age is 18+ and can be between 2pm and 6pm.  A late check-in can be arranged if prior notice is given. Check-out time is strictly 10am.  A late check-out option is never available at Mulberry Cottage B&B.

Arrival:  Guests will be welcomed by the host and all facilities and equipment will be demonstrated where necessary.  Guests must follow all instructions laid out by the host or they could be liable for any damage that may be incurred.

Departure:  Please be sure that you have collected all of your personal property as Mulberry Cottage B&B are not liable for its security.  Upon departure,  the keys are to be returned to the host in person.  If the keys are not returned the locks will have to be changed and new keys cut. The guest acknowledges that the credit card supplied at either the time of booking or at check-in will be charged appropriately for any such expenses.

Additional Guest:  All guests must be declared and paid for at check-in.  Any additional guests that spend the night will incur the additional guest rate applicable to that cottage.

Damaged or stolen property:  The guest who provides the payment details is deemed to be responsible for their actions and the actions of all guests in that cottage and surrounding areas and gardens. Mulberry Cottage B&B reserve the right to replace, with new, any damaged or stolen items and equipment.  Additional cleaning fees can be charged as required and could include any loss of income or any specialist charges.  The guest acknowledges that the credit card supplied at either the time of booking or at check-in will be charged appropriately for any such expenses.

No Smoking:  Mulberry Cottage B&B does not permit smoking within its cottages nor with-in 5 meters of any structures.  Guests who fail to adhere to this policy* may be asked to leave while still being charged in full for their stay.  Additionally, and extra fee of $300-$500 may also be charged for specialty cleaning fees.  All payments will be taken from the credit card supplied at either the time of booking or at check-in.

Noise:  Mulberry Cottage is a small B&B, therefore for the comfort of all guests, excessive noise is strictly not permitted.  This includes any loud music or boisterous behavior on any of our grounds.  Guests who fail to adhere to this policy* may be asked to leave while still being charged in full for their stay. 

Young Children and Pets:  Mulberry Cottage is an Adults only B&B. Pets are never permitted.

Guest Property:  Mulberry Cottage B&B and staff do not accept any liability for guest’s property during their stay.  This includes all personal belongings and vehicles parked on or off the premises.

Lost Property:  Mulberry Cottage B&B will store all lost and found items for a period of 1 month and will endeavor to contact the appropriate guest where possible to arrange its return.  The method and expense of the return is to be decided and covered by the guest.

Essential Services:  Mulberry Cottage B&B does not accept any responsibility for Failure or Interruption of Utilities and Essential Services but shall make every effort to contact the authorities to report such incidences. Furthermore, in the event that a faulty appliance is reported, Mulberry Cottage B&B does not accept any responsibility for subsequent loss of the amenity by the guest.

Privacy:  Mulberry Cottage B&B does not keep records of personal information for more than 7 days from the date of departure.  Any information collected at the time of booking or check-in is NOT shared with any 3rd parties.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions:  Mulberry Cottage B&B reserve the sole right and authority to change any part of these terms and conditions at any time with-out giving prior notice.

The above terms and conditions are deemed to have "been accepted" when the booking is made.
