Yet the character and feel of the cottage has remained intact. Our host Maureen made us feel very welcome and very much at home. Every morning we enjoyed a continental breakfast with a selection of cereals, fruits, and toast. In addition Maureen served her own delicious pikelets/pancakes every morning, which I greedily devoured. Maureen also gave us some good tips on where to eat and places to visit. Maureen was a very accomodating host, and nothing was to much trouble, which was reflected in Reid’s Cottage. Cosy, comfortable, clean and everything you would want.
